Farm Ranger

• They are bred for Irish free ranging.
• They are renowned for their ability to withstand weather for free ranging .
• They are a dual purpose bird - egg laying/meat.
• The cock bird will mature around 15 weeks and will reach about 8lbs oven ready.
• The hen will lay about 200 eggs per annum and are oven ready at this stage at 7-8lbs.

• The meat texture and flavour is like the old fashioned chicken. They have an amazing taste
• They are a very robust hardy bird and very easy to rear
• Leg problems and heart attacks are virtually unheard of and mortality rates are very low
